Using ChatGPT to Create Email or Text Templates

How to Create the Email Template Using ChatGPT

Step 1

Hover your mouse over Templates, right-click on Open Link In New Tab, OR open a Word or Google Doc.

*Note: You will be cutting from ChatGPT and pasting into a Text or Email Template.

Step 2

Go back to the tab you already had open (do not close the other tab until you are done creating Templates.)

*Note: If you look in the Templates area, you may not see new saved templates on the alternate tab. You will see the new templates added when you are done creating and keeping the templates and closing the second tab.

Step 3

Click on the blue "Actions" dropdown menu at the top left of the system.

Step 4

Click on "New Email" or "New Text."

Step 5

To open ChatGPT, click on the blue swirl "ChatGPT" Icon at the bottom right of the New Email or New Text.

Step 6

Click on "Create with AI."

Step 7

Type or copy and paste your pre-written question into the "input question" field.

Step 8

Click the blue "Generate" button.

Step 9

Review the Created AI Content.

Step 10

Copy the suggested Subject line from the New Email.

*Note: Skip to the next step if creating a New Text.

Step 11

Click on the tab for the new Email or Text template you want to create.

Step 12

Paste the Subject line into the Email Template.

*Note: Skip to the next step if creating a New Text.

Step 13

Click the three lines+ icon on the far right to add a merged field to personalize the recipient's subject line.

Step 14

Click on the tab for the New Email or New Text.

Step 15

Copy the body text from the New Text or New Email.

Step 16

Click on the tab for the new Email or Text template you want to create.

Step 17

Paste the body text into the Email or Text body field.

Step 18

Make any desired edits, insert material, insert schedule link, etc

Step 19

Name the Template.

For example, if this is for Day 1, Email 1 for an Automation, name it so you can make sense of the order when you build an Automation with this new Email Template.

*Note: You will use this name to search for the Template when adding to an Automation or One-off Email.

Step 20

Click the blue Create button to save the Email or Text Template or click Cancel to abandon creating the Email or Text Template.

Step 21

Check the Template list to be sure your Template was saved.

Step 22

After you are sure your template is saved, you can close out the other tab that you have opened.
