Overview of Unsubscribed Contacts

Learn how to Filter a list of Text and Email Unsubscribed Contacts and set up a Notification alerting you that a Contact has unsubscribed from text or email communication.

What Happens When a Contact Unsubscribes?

If a contact unsubscribes from texts or emails, their Contact Record will reflect the corresponding updates.

Text

  • If a Contact unsubscribes via text, the system unsubscribes them from all automated and scheduled text communication.

  • The Text tab "New Text" and dropdown Activity "New Text" option will be removed from the Contact Record.

Email

  • If a Contact unsubscribes from email, the system unsubscribes them from all automated and scheduled email communication.

  • The Email tab "new email" and dropdown Activity "New Email option will be removed from the Contact Record.

Automation

  • If the Contact has an automation applied, the automation will remain attached; however, the automation outbound email or texts will not be sent from the system. To remove the Automation, open the Contact Record and remove the Automation manually.
