Overview of How Synced Calendars and Meetings Work Together
Learn how to leverage the My Calendar feature by setting up Meeting events online, using Zoom or Google Meet, or in-person locations.
*Note: You need to sync Zoom within Integrations to use it as a meeting location. If you have already synced a Google account, you will automatically have access to choose Google Meet when you create the Meeting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question | Answer |
Where will I see the Meetings I have scheduled? | You can access a few places to review scheduled appointments: Dashboard Calendar, Calendar, and Contact Record Appointments Menu. |
What is the difference between a "New Meeting" and an "Appointment"? | "New Meeting" is the tool you will use to create the meeting event. Once a Meeting is set, it is referred to as "Appointment." |
Does the system cross-check calendars to help prevent double booking? | Yes. Once you have synced your Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 Calendar, the system will cross-check the calendars you have added to those calendar app views (in Google Calendar or Microsoft Office 365) and factor in the availability based on that data. |
Can I modify the Calendars the system cross-checks? | Access your Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 Calendar. Then, remove any calendars you don’t want the system to consider when optimizing your available time. |
