How to Troubleshoot an Email Automation Connection Error

If you're using Gmail or Outlook, you might encounter an error message when using email automation. This is because these email providers have security features that require you to re-verify your access token to allow outbound email again.

Fortunately, disconnecting and reconnecting your email can reset your security token with those providers.

Step 1

Click Settings on the bottom of the tools on the left side of the dashboard.

Step 2

Click on Integrations. You'll see Email Apps at the top of the page.

Step 3

For either Gmail or Outlook, disconnect the email.

Step 4

For either Gmail or Outlook, reconnect the email.
