How to Trigger an Automation with a Booked Scheduler Event

Learn how to add a tag for filtering and trigger an Automation with a booked Scheduler event.

System Tools Used:

• Scheduler

  • We will create a Scheduler booking event.

• Tags

  • We will add a Tag to the Scheduler event to track registrants for the event in the Contacts Filter.

• Templates

  • We will create an email template to insert into the Automation.

• Material

  • We will insert Material into the Template.

• Automation

  • Using the Template with Material inserted, we will create an Automation to attach to the Scheduler event.

    • PRO TIP:  The time delay you assign to scheduler automation will delay the automation start time.  

      • Example:  When a contact schedules an appointment, the system initiates the automation immediately or after a delay of XX hours, days, or minutes. Once the scheduled time has elapsed, the attached automation will start.
