Step 1

Click the "How to Use Custom Contact Fields" button at the bottom of the page and create the fields you want to add to the Lead Capture Form, which you will customize.

Step 2

Once you have created the Custom Contact Fields, create the Lead Capture Form, or click the three dots on a previously created Custom Lead Form to add the Custom Contact Fields to the form and save the update.

Step 3

Click the outlined button with the "+Add field" within it.

*Note: This is under the Required Fields section, where you added checks to mandate the First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone.

Step 4

A pop-up menu titled "Add field" will appear with a list of all the Custom Contact Fields you have previously created within the "Tags, Statuses, and Fields" option in the Contact Manager.

Step 5

Now it's time to fill out the "Add Field" pop-up to add the Custom Contact Fields to the Lead Capture Form.

  • Match Field

    • Click the dropdown menu to see all the Custom Contact Fields you created within the Contact Manager's "Tags, Statuses, and Fields" tool.

    • Click on the Custom Contact Field you want to add to the Lead Capture Form.

  • Name

    • This is the name the Contact will see on the form when filling out the Lead Capture Form.

      • Add Field Pop-Up

      • How It Appears on the Lead Capture Form

  • Type

    • Many different types of Custom Contact Fields can be added:

      • The type will be automatically selected depending on the Match Field you selected.

      • Example: If you have a Custom Contact Field for "Assistant Name," the field will say "text."

  • Placeholder

    • This text provides additional information to help the Contact understand what to add to the Lead Capture Form.

Step 6

There are two different ways of saving your work. Depending on whether you are saving a new Lead Capture Form or editing a Lead Capture Form.

  • NEW Lead Capture Form

    • Click the blue "Add" or "Cancel" button to abandon creating the new Lead Capture Form.

  • EDITING a Lead Capture Form

    • Click the blue "Update" button or "Cancel" to abandon your edits to the existing Lead Capture Form.

Step 7

Open the Material link that you have attached to the Lead Capture Form and review it.
