How to Create, Edit, or Delete a New Task in Tasks
Step 1
Click on the blue "New Task" button at the top right of the Tasks page.
Step 2
Choose the Task Type by clicking on one of the following options;
General
Call
Meeting
Email
Text
Step 3
Type in a Task Description to help you recognize what you need to do about this Task.
Step 4
Add the Date by clicking on the corresponding day, month, and year or when you want the Task or the Recurring Task to begin.
Step 5
Add the Time of day you want the Task to trigger on the specified date or Recurring Task.
Step 6
Click the "Time Zone" dropdown menu if you need to adjust the Time Zone, then click on the "New Time Zone" choice, or move directly to Duration if you do not need to adjust the Time Zone.
Step 7
Create the time Duration for the task.
All Day Task
Set as a Recurring Event
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Yearly
Step 8
Click the blue "Create" button to save the Task to the Contact Record or "Cancel" to abandon Task Creation.
