How to Create and Manage a Community
This article will walk you through creating and managing a community as an owner.
Step 1
Click on Community on the system's left side.
Step 2
Click on the blue "Create New Community" button.
Step 3
A "Create a New Community" pop-up will appear.
Step 4
Click the "Upload Community Logo" button to upload a logo for your community. No logo? You can skip this step if you do not have a logo or image to upload.
*Note: The logo should be in jpeg or png format with a file size of up to 2MB.
Step 5
Add the "Community Name." This is the name that other system users will see when you invite them to join the Community.
Step 6
Click the blue "Create Community" button to create your Community or "cancel" to abandon the action.
Community Settings and Customization
The settings allow you to change the group visibility, send invitations to your community, and re-share Material, Automations, and Templates.
To access your community settings, click the Settings gear to the right of whichever community you want to change the settings for.
Step 1
Click on Community on the system's left side.
Step 2
Hover over the Community name, and click on the "Cog" icon on the far right of the row.
Step 3
Toggle the switch to the right (blue) to turn that corresponding option on or off.
Community Visibility: Public or Private
Keep the switch on if you want users to be able to find your Community by searching for it. (users can click to request to join.)
Keep the switch off if you want to keep the Community private and invite-only.
View Member List: Show who belongs to the community
Keep the switch on to show everyone the Community Member list.
Keep the switch off to keep the Community Member list private.
Send Community Invites: Let members of your community invite others
Keep the switch on to allow Members to invite new members to the Community.
Keep the switch off if you want to control invitations to the Community.
Reshare Community content
Keep the switch on to allow the community members to share Content provided by the community.
Keep the switch off if you want to keep the Community Content accessible but not sharable.
Source Material
Enable Members to download any Community content you have made available.
Keep the switch on to allow the Community Members to download the provided content.
Keep the switch off if you want to keep the Content accessible but not downloadable.
Step 4
Click the blue "Save" button or "Cancel" to abandon the actions.
