How to Create an Email Template
Email templates are here to make your life easier! When you create an email template, you will have access to send the template (canned email) to a single contact and insert it into Automations quickly.
Step 1
Click on "Templates." on the left-hand side of the system.
Step 2
Click the blue "New Template" button on the top right of the Templates page.
Step 3
Click the "dot" to the right of the Email option.
*Note: The dot will turn blue when you make your selection. The blue dot will always be on the email selection by default.
Step 4
Title
Place your cursor into the Title field and add the title.
*Note: Remember that you will be searching for this title when you insert an Email Template into an Email Automation. This title is NOT Contact-facing.
Subject
Place your cursor into the Subject field and add the Subject line.
*Note: The Subject IS Contact-facing.
Content
This is where you will add information you share with the recipient/s of the email.
*Note: You will also be able to insert Material, Emojis, Calendly links, and Custom Merge Fields to help you personalize the message.
Bottom Right Icons
Play Icon
Click the "Play" icon at the bottom right of the Email Template to insert Material.
Emoji Face
Place your cursor where you want to add the Emoji.
Click the "Emoji Face" icon to add emojis to the email content.
Click the Emoji you want to insert.
Click the "Emoji Face" icon again to close the emoji menu.

Place your cursor where you want to add the Custom Merge Field to personalize the Email Template.
Click the "Three-line" icon.
Click to select the Custom Merge Field and insert it into the Email Template.
Step 5
Click the blue Create button to save the Email Template or click Cancel to abandon creating the Email Template.
