How to Add a New Pipeline Deal to a Contact Record
*Note: A New Deal created in Contacts will apply to the Primary Pipeline ONLY. Please create a New Deal within the Pipeline to choose a different Pipeline before creating the Contact deal.
Step 1
Look to the "Deal" tile on the right side of the Contact Record page, and click the "plus sign" icon to open the "Create Deal" pop-up.
Step 2
Add the "Deal Name," then click the "Pipeline" dropdown to select the Pipeline you want to assign to this Contact Record.
Step 3
Click "Price" to enter the price of the property for sale.
Note: This field may interest you if you work in Real Estate. If not, skip to step 4.
Step 4
Click "Close Date" to log the transaction date for the closed property.
Note: This field may interest you if you work in Real Estate. If not, skip to step 5.
Step 5
"Contacts" will automatically add the Contact Record name. You can add additional Contacts with a keyword search, then click the name to add them to the Pipeline Deal Card.
*Note: The primary contact will be set by default when multiple contacts are added to the pipeline deal card. To modify the Primary Contact, click on the dropdown arrow icon at the far right of the "Primary Contact" option, then select the desired contact as the new Primary Contact.
Step 6
*Note: Skip to step 7 if you do not want to add a description.
Add a short description of the Pipeline Deal Card into the "Description" field.
Step 7
Note: If you do not track commission, skip to step 8.
Click the bubble to select either "$" (money) or "%" (percentage) and enter the Commission amount into the field.
*Note: The Agent and Team Split will automatically show the values.
Step 8
The New Pipeline Deal Card will land within the Deal tile on the Contact Record.
