How Team Owners Assign Contacts in Bulk with Team Members

*Note: Ensure you communicate your expectations for Team Members to follow up with accepted Contacts.

Step 1

Click on "Contacts" on the system's left side.

Step 2

Create a filter or keyword search for Contacts you want to assign to a Team member.

Step 3

Click the box to the left of each Contact you want to share with the Team member.

*Note: You can also click "select all" on the Contacts banner and uncheck the Contacts you want to remove from assigning.

Step 4

Click the "More" option across the Contacts banner.

Step 5

Click "Share."

Step 6

Click the dropdown menu for "Select Community/Team."

Step 7

Select the Team Member you want to share the contact with by clicking on the name.

Step 8

Click the blue "Share" button to complete the sharing of the Contact/s or "Close" to abandon the action.

*Note: This will add a "share pending contact" to the Contacts list and the Contact Record within the Activity tab. The Team member must accept or decline the shared Contact.

  • If a Team Member accepts the Contact/s, the last activity will be updated to "accepted shared contact."

  • If a Team Member declines the Contact/s, the latest activity will update to "declined shared contact."
