How a Community Owner Accepts or Declines a Join Request Email
If your Community is public, you may occasionally receive Community Join Request Emails as a Community owner. Follow these steps to Accept or Decline someone requesting to join your Community.
Step 1
If you receive an email with the subject line "crmgrow community member join request: NAME," this system user has found your public Community and is requesting to join it.
Step 2
There are three ways to open the Community from this email: to accept or decline the person's request to join. Clicking one of these options will open your dashboard if logged in.
Click on "clicking here" on the sentence "Go to your CRMgrow Account by clicking here."
Click on the green "Accept" prompt.
Click on the red "Decline" prompt.
Step 3
Click on "Community" on the system's left side.
Step 4
You will see a blue "call-out" stating "X request waiting" to the right of the Community name.
Step 5
Click on the Community name that has the request waiting.
Step 6
Click on the green "Accept" button or the red "Decline" button on the member request/s that are waiting.
*Note: Depending on the choice selected, either an email saying they have been accepted or declined will be sent to the Member seeking to join.
