Column-Specific Tools in Newsletters

  1. Background Color

    1. Each column can have it's own color if you have chosen 2+ columns

      1. Click on the color you want to assign to the Column, OR manually type in the specific HEX Code or RGB color code for your branding for specific colors

      2. This will automatically update the color in the Newsletter

  2. Border

    1. Choose to adjust the Border equally as a solid, dotted, or dashed border, border color, or via more options, choose Top, Right, Left, or Bottom, and adjust each with their color, and solid, dotted, or dashed border type

    2. This will automatically update the color in the Newsletter

  3. Column Borders

    1. Choose the Column you want to apply the border to

    2. Via All Sides - choose from solid, dotted, or dashed, then adjust the thickness of the border, and color

PRO-TIP: Choose the color FIRST. If you have the Border option of 0, 1, or 2, it will be difficult to see the solid, dotted, or dashed border unless you've chosen a color first

    3. Via More Options - you can manually adjust each border side of Top, Right, Left, Bottom with a solid, dotted, or dashed border, individual side thickness, and individual side color

  4. Column Rows

    1. Row properties allows you to adjust specific elements of the row you are working on currently. Have specific HEX or RGB codes for your branding? No problem, you can add those into the Background Color or Content Background color sections easily.

      1. Background Color - this is the overall background color for the Content Section you are editing

      2. Content Background Color - this is the color that will show within the specific Column you are editing as the padding around the content

      3. Background Image (this replaces the Background Color)

      4. Image URL - if you want to link an image ending in .jpg or .png

Pro-Tip: You MUST drag an image tile into a content box to upload OR link an image OR use a stock image in the Stock Photos library (see giphy below)

      5. Apply Effects such as cropping, adding stickers, shapes, text, corners, etc

      6. Adjust padding equally, or via more options choose to create padding for the Top, Right, Left, and Bottom of that specific column

  5. Padding

    1. Adjusting the Padding of the Newsletter Columns can be done one of two ways;

      1. Choose the Column you want to add padding to

      2. Choose to use "Padding All Sides" to equally apply padding around the column (space between and around columns)

      3. Via More Options, choose to set Padding individually for the Top, Right, Left, and Bottom sides

  6. Responsive Design

    1. The Responsive Design enables you to hide the desktop access for a specific newsletter and make it for mobile access only when you toggle "hide on desktop" on (slide to the right, and it turns green)
