Automations and Task Complete Action (+)

Similar to the "Material Check" Automation Action, which is based on Material Consumption that triggers specific Communication paths, the "Task Complete" Automation Action enables a "branching off" to Path A or Path B Action based on whether the previous Task was completed (Yes, branch) or uncompleted (No, branch).

*Note: Be sure to set the time delays for actions under the yes and no branches according to the task duration created previously. If you are not mindful of timing when adding the "Task Complete" Action, the "Yes", and "No" branches may trigger sooner than anticipated.

Step 1

You can open an existing Automation by clicking on its "Title" or the blue "New Automation" button at the top right of the Automation page to start a New Automation.

Step 2

After adding a "Task Action," click on the "Plus Sign" Icon in the middle of the page to Add an Action to the Automation.

Step 3

Click on the blue "Task complete check."

Step 4

A "Select a condition" pop-up will appear.

Step 5

Click on one of the two options;

  • Click the green "Yes, branch" button to create an Automation branch that will trigger if the person working on the Contact follow-up clicks "complete" on the assigned task, thereby closing it.

  • Click the red "No, branch" button to create an Automation that will trigger if the person working the Contact follow-up DOES NOT "complete" the assigned Task and it has remained OPEN.

Step 6

Continue building Automation Actions from the "Yes, branch" and "No, branch."

Step 7

You will see a green notification stating "last saved" at the bottom right corner to confirm that the Automation has been updated.
