Automations and Move Deal Actions (+)

The "Move Deal" Action within an Automation removes the need for you to manually move Pipeline Deal Cards from the Pipeline Stage to the Next Pipeline Stage.

Once set up, "Move Deal" will automatically move Pipeline Deal Cards from Pipeline Stage to Pipeline Stage based on your specific criteria.

Step 1

Create a Pipeline Stage Automation for a specific set of communications for a transaction stage that you work.

For example, creating a Pipeline Stage Automation for "New Contacts" may involve introductory texts, emails, and call reminders to build a relationship. Once you have this built out, you can use "Move Deal" to advance people into a Pipeline Stage assignment that you've built, such as a "New Contact" Pipeline Stage to a "Qualified Contact" Pipeline Stage.

Step 2

Once you have created the Automation, click the Plus Sign (+) icon to select the following Action.

Step 3

Click on the dark blue "Move Deal" fire icon in the menu that slides out from the right.

Step 4

After the previous Action is added, you can select the "Time Delay" to set the time for the "Move Deal" Action to trigger within the Automation process.

Options include;

• Immediately

• 10 minutes

• 30 minutes

• 1 hour

• 6 hours

• 12 hours

• 1 day

• 2 days

• 3 days

• 1 week

• 2 weeks

• Custom Time Delay

  • Click "Custom Time Delay" to select a custom period of "Hours" or "Days" for the Task to trigger after the previous Action is added.

    • Be sure to click the bubble on "Hours" or "Days" to set the correct timing for the Task action.

    • Type in the amount of "Hours" or "Days" into the field, or use the up and down arrows on the right side of the amount field to select "Hours" or "Days".

Note: The Task timing is based on the previous action added. For example, if you set an Automation Email going out the day before and want the Task to trigger two days after, you'd select "2 Days."

Step 5

Select "Next Stage" or "Other Stage."

*Note: The Selection will appear with a dark gray background. "Next Stage" will be the default.

• "Next Stage"

  • Choosing this option will move the Pipeline Deal Card to the next Pipeline Stage within the Pipeline.

• "Other Stage"

  • Choosing this option will move the Pipeline Deal Card to a specific Pipeline Stage.

    1. Click on "Other Stage" (background will update to dark grey.)

    2. A "Deal Stage" dropdown menu will appear.

    3. Click on the "Stage" you want to move the Pipeline Deal Card to within the Pipeline.

Step 6

Click the blue "Insert" button to add the Action or "Close" to abandon.

Step 7

Be sure to click the "pencil" icon to the right of the name at the top of the page. Then click the blue "save" button. If you do not take this step, your work will not be saved to the automation.
